At Ormiston Teacher Training, we believe in the power of great teaching: every lesson, every day, for every child.  As a Trust, we educate over 30,000 pupils in over 40 schools; we know what it takes to make a great teacher and our Initial Teacher Training programme is designed to do just that.

We are proud to have partnered with the National Institute of Teaching for our September 2024 ITT delivery as our trainee teachers will have the confidence of knowing that they are participating in a programme designed by some of the most experienced teachers and leaders in the country. We offer a school-centred experience, meaning that OTT trainees have the right balance of teaching practice and learning. Our four new regional training campuses are situated in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk in the below schools:

We’re on a mission to unearth the next generation of inspirational and exceptional educators to join our campuses across Staffordshire, West Midlands, Suffolk and Norfolk from this September. We believe that every child deserves a great education and are looking for the next generation of teachers to help us to achieve this ambition.

If you know of an aspiring teacher; someone with a passion for their subject and looking for a career that really counts, refer them to train to teach with us and you will be entered into our ‘Teacher Referral Raffle’. Our commitment to transforming the lives of children by developing the talents of teachers means that you will be in with a chance of winning one of our three prizes – 1st prize £500 travel vouchers to spend on a UK weekend break, 2nd prize £300 retail vouchers and 3rd prize £200 luxury farm shop vouchers.

Terms and conditions

If your referred trainee is eligible for an interview, you will be entered into the raffle draw (this will be cross checked our end).  Entries close on Friday 5th July 2024 at 6pm. Winners will be announced on our @Ormiston Teacher Training social media (Instagram, Facebook and X) on Monday 8th July 2024, midday.

Please note: the raffle is open to people 18 and over only.
